It offers both on-demand recordings and live streams of current productions from Broadway, Off-Broadway, the Metropolitan Opera, and the New York City Ballet. By broadcasting these shows, the platform helps New York’s top performing arts institutions reach wider audiences while generating additional revenue. It’s not just about accessibility—it’s about supporting the theater ecosystem and expanding its impact beyond the walls of the stage.

Scope of work

Web design, name & logo, digital presence (newsletter & App Store), branded collateral, and advertising.

  • The market lacks a service that allowed audiences to watch live theater from home while ensuring fair treatment and compensation for the artists, crew, and creative teams involved. Existing options often failed to protect workers' rights, undervalued their contributions, or compromised the integrity of the productions. There was a clear need for a platform that could expand access to theater without exploiting the people who make it possible.

  • Reprise is a streaming service designed to give audiences access to professional recordings (proshots), live streams, and movie adaptations of Broadway, Off-Broadway, Met Opera, and NYC Ballet productions in an ethical way. Through Reprise, proshot cast and crew receive residual payments based on viewership, while live stream cast and crew earn a share of the revenue from each virtual ticket sold. By creating a model that fairly compensates all contributors, Reprise expands access to live performance without compromising the rights and livelihoods of the artists who bring these productions to life.

Branded collateral like the newsletter, App Store preview, and physical giveaway ticket are key for building brand recognition and trust. The newsletter keeps users engaged, the App Store preview attracts new downloads with a strong first impression, and the giveaway ticket creates a memorable, tangible connection to the brand while driving new subscriptions.
